I swear that what you name a child has a lot to do with who they are. Or some people say that you are inspired to name a child a certain name because of who they will be. Whatever way you want to look at it, it doesn't matter people seem to fit their name. What does this have to do with Degan riding a four wheeler? Let me tell you how we chose Degan's name. Jared loves to watch four wheeler races and tricks on T.V. Well one of the really good free style motor cycle riders name is Brian Degan. So Jared loved the name Degan (not necessarily Brian Degan) and since it was his turn to name a kid that's what we chose. Brian Degan isn't exactly that role model that you want your kid to be named after. He has many tattoos and I am sure that he party's hard. But I loved the name because it was original. (i thought) Now our Degan is living up to the motor cycle end of the name. He eats and thinks four wheelers. Tuesday is Jared's day off and the two of them spend most of the day outside on the four wheeler. Jared runs behind Degan all day. The neat think is that Degan is getting good. He controls the throttle well, he maneuvers through tight places amazingly, and stops before he runs into the house. Although he doesn't always watch where he is going. I also need to mention that he just turned two. I am in trouble.
