Disneyland

The first week of March we got to take the girls to Disneyland for the first time. They were so excited about the tip and were counting down the days. We left early (5:00a.m.) Monday morning. We arrived at our Hotel around 2:00 p.m. California time. We stayed at the Crown Plaza. It was a nice Hotel, but they were promoting a time share with their Hotel. Every time that we went into the lobby we had to walk as fast as we could so that the people couldn't catch us and beg us to listen to their spill on their hotels. In the 4 days that were their they called our room 3 times asking us to come and listen. They just couldn't take no for an answer. I liked the hotel, but won't go back because of the time share people.

Anyway, aside from that we had a blast. The girls could and would go on most rides. All except the really big scary ones. I take that back, Malia would go on any ride, Candace refused to go on Thunder Mountain Railroad. She kept saying the whole time we were in line that she wasn't going and she ment it. When we walked onto the tain she walked right off again. I think the only reason they went on some of the rides though is because you can't see all of the ride. So they had no idea what they were in for. They both say they loved splash mountain, but I can tell they were afraid. Malia said that she didn't smile in the splash mountain because the rabbit told her not to.

It did rain on us the second day we were their. But that was a good thing. We pretty much walked right onto every ride. It wasn't too cold and we had our umbrellas. The other two days were perfect. We defiantly picked the best time of year to go. We really only waited in about 2 long lines, the longest was to meet the princesses and that line took us 1hr.

We bought the girls autograph books and they loved finding all the character's they could to get their autographs and pictures. They only filled up about half of the book. Guess we will have to go back next year. Anyway here are some of the pictures.
