Christmas tree

So we went and got our second real christmas tree in ten years. We have had this really pretty fake tree for about eight years and I loved it. But it died last year and now that we have 3 kids we can't afford to go spend $200 on a fake tree. I always thought it was so fun to go get a real tree when I was little, but it was a little different this time. I had fun but I am such a worrier now that I have kids. When we got out of the truck I was so nervious to hike to far from it because I was afraid of mountain lions. Dumb I know. So I made the kids stay right with me. I found one I liked but Mailia said that we had to all agree on it and she didn't. So it took me a few seconds (malia always wants to please everyone so she agrees fast even if she really doesn't want to ) to convince her that the tree would be tall enough it just looked small because it was out in the mountains. And I was right. The tree is the perfect hight.

As you can see on the girls shoes it was muddy. And Jared was loving it. So on the way back down the mountain we had to go up a very slippery hill and Malia was having a cow. She was afraid that we were going to crash. And because she was crying she made Degan cry. It was funny!! Bad mom I know. We all had a good time and I am glad that we had to go and cut a real tree.
